FDG provided program management and design services for a new dry grocery, perishables and frozen food distribution complex, with support service capabilities, designed to meet increased productivity demands and storage capacity.

• 956,300-SF greenfield distribution complex
• Ten 2 wide x 5 deep x 3 high Cool Care pressurized tarpless banana ripening rooms
• Automatic, hydraulic designed sprinkler system in accordance with all applicable NFPA guidelines
• Central ammonia refrigeration, with all compressors and vessels located in a central equipment room with the evaporative condenser located above the equipment roof room
• 517,300-SF dry grocery area with 87 dock doors
• 194,400-SF produce, meat, poultry and dairy/deli, together with 44 dock doors
• 193,689-SF freezer area including 33 dock doors
• Truck Maintenance Garage with six service bays, drive through truck wash bay, support offices and Parts Mezzanine
• Individual Dispatch Building with complete fueling capabilities
• Individual Salvage Building with 25 dock doors
